Celebrate Eid with Adelaide’s largest multicultural Eid festival • Glam Adelaide

Eid Festival is South Australia’s largest and most prestigious Eid celebration. The Eid festival is South Australia’s premier Muslim festival. Eid is the Muslim celebration for one of the two important occasions of the year: Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha.

With Ramadan ending at the end of the month, Eid is a time of celebration and reverence for the previous month of fasting. The Eid Festival is an event that marks the culmination of all these efforts.

This self-funded, non-profit community event attracts and brings together people from all different cultures and ethnic backgrounds during this time of celebration. It is also a chance for non-Muslim Australians to be exposed to Muslim culture, food and family entertainment.

This weekend-long event is unique compared to most other events in South Africa; Eid festivals bring together a diverse attendance that directly reflects SA’s cultural mosaic.

“They offer Muslims the opportunity to feel a sense of identity; most important for thousands of children to experience the fun of these celebrations as part of their Australian identity. Eid festival says.

The event will include food stalls, rides, clothing stalls, show bags, shows and more.
