Luck now: Maulana Tauqeer Raza, who has often been embroiled in controversy due to his statements, has now been suppressed by the Yogi government. A case was filed against the Maulana under several headings. In fact, IMC leader Tauqeer Raza had held a rally on Sunday over the arrest of former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma. After which a complaint was filed against him by the Bareilly Kotwali Police.
It is alleged that 1,500 people were allowed to attend the rally. But the organizers have called thousands of people. City Magistrate Rajiv Pandey had authorized the protest on Sunday June 19 at the request of IMC Corporal Farhat Khan and Mahanagar Chairman Makhdoom Beg. Clear instructions were given in the clearance that a crowd of over 1500 people will not be at Islamia Ground and corona protocol will be followed.
According to the police, the leaders of the IMC violated the authorization conditions. Instead of 1,500 people, a crowd of thousands was called to the rally. A case has been registered under Section 188 against IMC District Chairman Farhat Khan and Chairman Mahanagar Makhdoom Baig in Kotwali on behalf of City Magistrate Rajiv Pandey in this case. At the same rally, Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) leader Maulana Tauqeer Raza advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah to read kalma and understand Islam. At the same time, the Maulana had also asked him to become a Muslim.
